For 2019 I am moving into a new home and calling myself The Wild Gentleman – it seemed to be a fitting name that encompasses all that I do. The Wild gentleman will be concentrating too on just three weekends of courses all in St Werburghs, Bristol (did I just talk about myself in the third person?) This means that you can get to know where wild food grows in each season and, how it tastes across the year which will really broaden your wild food experience in Bristol.

This year Andy (the wild gentleman) returns to where he began teaching foraging back in 2004 in St Werburgh’s Bristol. He will take you on a dizzying tour of all the wild resources in this area, which is full of abundant hidden pockets of wild food.

Ferment, infuse & preserve Bristol

Capture the essence of each season in this most unique workshop. Book on this and the wild food foraging walk and you’ll be equipped with enough knowledge to survive anything that Brexit throws at us.
You’ll learn how to lock in and enhance wild food flavours with food fermentation, make your own gin and other booze infusions or for the non drinker, you’ll be making deliciously flavoured vinegar.
